Dan River Campground Access One of the best access points on the river, this access is centrally located on the Dan River in Rockingham County. There is a great run from either Lindsay Bridge access (about 6 miles and 3 hours) or from 704 bridge (about 3.5 miles and 2 hours). There is a nice, mostly flat water run from here to Settle Bridge (about 3.5 miles and 2 hours). This access has been constructed with private funds and is privately owned and maintained.
